Immerse in a foreign language environment for 2-4 weeks, study a topic at a local secondary school, live in school dormitory or with a host family. Suitable for Hong Kong students aged 14-18.

Canada Program Details

You will:

  • Interact with AFS students from all over the world and learn to get along with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Live in host family and participate in fruitful activities and trips to gain an in-depth understanding of the local culture.
  • Live and study in an English-speaking environment to improve your English proficiency from daily life.
  • Take English classes led by qualified ESL teachers, and practice English conversation skills by participating in interesting classroom activities.

Denmark Program Details

You will:

  • Live and study with AFS students from all over the world and learn to get along with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience Danish education at Ranum Efterskole College, which has a history of 165 years and experienced teachers.
  • Participate in a 4-5 day trip to visit cities such as Copenhagen, Hamburg and Gothenburg to learn about local culture.
  • Take English and other subjects taught in English to improve your English proficiency.
  • Take Danish classes to learn about the local language, history, society and culture.
  • Choose the major subjects you are interested in, in addition to languages, there are science, social science, politics, philosophy, business, marketing and social media, etc.
  • Choose the profile subjects you are interested in such as sailing, gastronomy, music, dance, design, football and fitness.
  • Join recreational activities such as beach volleyball, soccer, biking, movies, bonfire, roller blading and prom.

Spain Program Details

You will:

  • Live and study with AFS students from all over the world and learn to get along with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Participate in fruitful activities and trips to gain an in-depth understanding of the local culture such as museum visits, football experience and city tours.
  • Take up to 80 hours of Spanish classes to learn one of the most spoken languages in the world.
  • Participate in classroom activities that focus on intercultural learning, self-confidence, personal growth, and teamwork.
  • Join recreational activities such as beach, mountain climbing, ball games, etc.

Ireland Program Details

You will:

  • Live and study with AFS students from all over the world and learn to get along with people from different cultural backgrounds.
  • Experience Irish education at the well-known Trinity College Dublin.
  • Participate in fruitful activities and trips to gain an in-depth understanding of the local culture.
  • Live, study and take English classes in an all-English environment to improve your English proficiency
  • Join science, technology, engineering, math activities led by STEM experts.
  • Participate in classroom activities that focus on intercultural learning, problem solving, and critical thinking.
  • Gain a certificate issued by the Trinity College Dublin.

Egypt Program Details

Remarks : The June – July program is confirmed but the August still requires 3 participants to confirm. If you are interested in joining, please apply first. If there are not enough participants after the deadline, we will refund all the program fees you paid.

You will:

  • Live in a hotel on weekdays and a host family on weekend to experience real local life.
  • Visit the pyramids, museums, monasteries, etc., and gain an in-depth understanding of Egypt’s history as an ancient civilization.
  • Learn more about local culture with workshops such as traditional dancing and leather making.
  • Take Arabic classes to learn one of the six official languages of the United Nations.
  • Participate in fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) activities.
  • Participate in environmental conservation activities and learn about these increasingly important global issues.
