AFS is an international non-profit organization which focuses on providing intercultural learning opportunities like overseas exchange programs and local hosting programs.

Provide intercultural learning opportunities to help people develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to create a more just and peaceful world.

AFS Programs


Overseas Exchange Programs

Provide local secondary school students with year and summer exchange opportunities, immerse in a foreign language environment for 10 months or 2-6 weeks. Until now more than 4000 Hong Kong students joined the program.

Local Hosting Programs

Provide local secondary schools and families with opportunities to host a foreign exchange student. Until now AFS Hong Kong hosted nearly 900 exchange students with more than 130 schools in Hong Kong joined the program.

Online Intercultural Learning Program

With the generous support of the Jockey Club Community Sustainability Fund, provide an online Intercultural Learning course for local secondary school students. More than 1300 students signed up for the program.
