The Prague Astronomical Clock
The Prague Astronomical Clock, the most iconic landmark in Prague’s Old Town Square, is the third oldest astronomical clock in the world, chiming every hour on the hour. Originally built in 1410, it was designed based on the geocentric model of the time. Around 1490, a calendar dial was added, and its appearance was redesigned, incorporating Gothic sculptures.
