Host an exchange student for one academic year and introduce a foreign student to your school. AFS will also provide a school talk to share overseas exchange and scholarship opportunities with your students.
Program application opens year-round
- Exchange students are 15-17 years old
- Usually arrive at the end of August and depart at the end of June next year
- From different European, American and Asian countries
- All secondary schools in Hong Kong are welcome to apply
Host school only need to
- Provide daily lunches or lunch allowance
- Provide travel allowance
- Provide necessary items like textbooks and school uniforms
- Exempt from school fee, tong fai, air conditioning fee and other miscellaneous fee
- Assist AFS in securing a host family for the exchange student
