Develop intercultural competence through Learn, Practice and Connect

At AFS, we define Intercultural Learning as a study and application of knowledge about different cultures, their differences and similarities. And we define Global Citizen as someone who is aware of and understands the wider world – and their place in it. They take an active role in their community and work with others to create a more just and peaceful world.

YEP Part II

Due to the generous funding by the Richard Charles and Esther Yewpick Lee Charitable Foundation, we were able to provide the “Intercultural Learning Programs”, “THINK BIG Competitions”, “Intercultural Exchange Program/Youth Assembly” and “Mentoring Program” over the past years.

We received positive feedback and requests from students of YEP about the continuity of the above activities. In view of continuing the enhancement of individuals’ personal development, academic and professional development and global awareness, we are thrilled and excited to announce the AFS Youth Empowerment Project Part II.
