【Principal’s sharing】Why is intercultural exchange so vital for personal development and growth?
Ying Pui-chee, Principal of Shun Tak Fraternal Association Leung Kau Kui College

In addition to imparting knowledge, schools aim to foster students’ holistic development and personal growth. Ying Pui-chee, Principal of Shun Tak Fraternal Association Leung Kau Kui College, emphasizes that intercultural exchange learning is exceptionally important, as it expands horizons, enhances communication skills, and strengthens students’ ability to handle stress and solve problems.

Through continuous adaptation and practical experience, students gradually build a more stable mindset and practical capability, enabling them to navigate diverse situations in an organized manner and integrate into the world more effectively. Schools can arrange more opportunities for students to engage in autonomous learning, encouraging them to step proactively into communities and environments beyond the classroom. When learning is no longer confined to academic knowledge within four walls, it can exert a far greater positive impact on students’ personal development outside of academics.
