Introduction to the First-Ever China-Hong Kong Summer Program

We’re excited to announce a groundbreaking collaboration between China and Hong Kong for a unique four-week summer program running from July 6 to August 1, 2026. This immersive journey invites participants to explore vibrant cultures and innovative landscapes across Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, and Jiujiang, fostering a deep understanding of sustainability and advanced technologies.

Highlight:

2 weeks in (6-18 July 2026) Hong Kong & 2 weeks (18 July – 1 Aug 2026) in China. Immersive journey through China, including Beijing, Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Jiujiang
Theme: Sustainability (For AFS HKG & AFS CHN) ; STEM & AI (For AFS CHN)
Weaves together with Global Citizenship Education, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, cultural heritage, and geological conversation into a cohesive learning experience
Through hands-on workshops, field visits, and final projects, participants will be equipped to translate knowledge into tangible solutions and become a changemaker for a sustainable future
Memorable excursion to the Great Wall – Beijing

Workshop Highlight:

HKG: Global Citizenship Education (GCE)
CHN: Hands-on “AI for Good” activities at a local innovation base
Throughout the camp, students will synthesize their experiences—connecting AI, sustainability and culture—to complete projects in HKG & CHN as aspiring changemakers

Experience Hong Kong’s breathtaking night view, where an array of twinkling lights reflects off the shimmering waters of Victoria Harbour.

Participants will gain invaluable insights into China’s rich cultural heritage and remarkable geological conservation efforts.

One of the unforgettable highlights of this experience will be an excursion to the iconic Great Wall of China, providing a backdrop for cultural exploration and learning.
