Since the inception in 1982, AFS Hong Kong has witnessed a steady increase in the number of local volunteers who provide important frontline support for various exchange programs, as well as organizing, implementing and following-up educational activities for participants.
Some of the activities organized and supported by volunteers include:

2. Participant Selections and Home Visits
3. Parent Orientations
4. Recruitment of Host Families and Home Visits
5. Support Contact for hosting students
6. Promotional Activities
AFS is an international and volunteer based organization, and volunteers are the driving force in providing quality service to our participants. Our volunteers are grouped into four teams:

2. Recruitment Team
3. Support Team
4. Volunteer Development Team
Our Annual Volunteer Forum is held in November each year. All alumni and AFS friends are welcome.
