AFS Hong Kong is an independent and locally-registered charitable organization. While maintaining close ties with the international branches, it also needs the help of local staff and volunteers to carry out various programs. Local and overseas AFS volunteers all play a key role in the programs’ implementation, as AFS needs their support and participation for its exchange programs, services and various activities. Local and Overseas Volunteers
There are close to 300 local volunteers, including AFS alumni, parents and receiving families, who take part in the recruitment, selection and support for AFS exchange programs' powerful community links and opportunities for young people to participate.
